[CPT-UK] Friday and Saturday

Hurray for the return of the summer sun!  I hope you have all been
spending some quality time soaking up that vitamin D.

 

I'm just wanting to give another reminder about the two big events this
week-end in London, and also some future CPT presentations that will be
happening in the south of England, if any of you live down in that
direction.

 

This Friday, June 8th we will meet at the London Mennonite Centre
(directions at http://www.menno.org.uk/node/37) at 7pm for a bring and
share dinner, and then Maureen Jack, who is just heading back out to
Hebron/At-Tuwani, will share with us a bit about how things are going
there.  I hope you can all come!  We chose that date, as some folk may
be interested in the ENOUGH rally on the 9th (so if you're from out of
town, you can crash somewhere in the city for the night and take in both
events.)

 

For the Rally on the 9th, here's the blurb from the webpage of the
ENOUGH coalition (www.enoughoccupation.org):

 

"9 June 2007 is the international day of action to mark the 40th
anniversary of the Six Day War and Israel's military occupation of
Palestine. 

We want tens of thousands of people to join us for the primary
international event of the year in support of the Palestinian people.

To take part in this historic event, meet at 1.30pm on Saturday 9 June,
Lincoln's Inn Fields for the march to Trafalgar Square."

 

I hope to see you all at one or the other of these events!

the next few months:

Wednesday 4th July, 8pm, South East London Fabian Society, 105 Court
Lane, Dulwich

Saturday 6th October, 11am, Bexhill and Hastings UNA
