Hi
I will be on team in Hebron, so definately won't make the meeting. Even if I were home. I am pleased to see that finances are to be discussed as I certainly feel quite confused about where we (UK CPTers) are meant to send donations. Apart from one (which seems to be lost somewhere in CPT UK finances) I send things through the Mennonite Centre. We need to have a clear, accountable way of getting money to Chicago, that ensures people who send donations receive an acknowledgement.
It would be nice to have a gathering somewhere north of London, but I know these things are difficult to organize and as a full timer I am not home long enough to really help organize anything.
I hope you found your delegation to Hebron worthwhile.
In peace

I hope your New Year has started off with much hope. CPT London will be having its first gathering of 2007 a week Wednesday, on January 17th at 6pm. The event is at the London Mennonite Centre and it will start with a bring and share (directions at http://www.menno.org.uk/directio.htm). Some of the topics we hope to brush on include finances, a regional CPT training in the UK, and other potential CPT UK activities. The meeting will open with some sharing by Dora-Marie and Kathy, who have just returned from a delegation to Hebron.
