CPT folks,

If you could forward this email out to any folks you think would be
interested in this CPT UK event we have a very short time to spread
the word:

Dear Friends,

We'd like to invite you to join us for our one-day solidarity camp,
Sunday 2 October, 11 am - 5 pm, Grosvenor Square, London.

In August of this year, Cindy Sheehan made headlines around the world
with her five-week vigil outside the Texas ranch of George W Bush. Her
demand - a meeting with the President for an explanation of the
senseless death of her son in combat in Iraq - was denied. Support for
her struggle came from all over the US and the world and became a
visible point of reinvigoration for the movement in the US against
global expansionism and
war.

On Sunday 2nd October activists around the US will be setting up camps at
their Senate and other government buildings in solidarity with Cindy's
struggle. In the UK, activists from various groups will be coming together
in Grosvenor Square - site of the US Embassy - in a show of support for those
across the Atlantic. Come to pray, dance, eat, and show our hope for peace and
liberty.

If your organisation would like to pledge support please e-mail
nafziger at gmail.com. Supported by Prayer-I58 (www.prayer-i58.org.uk/)
and Christian Peacemaker Teams (www.cptuk.org.uk).

Please forward this to anyone you think might be interested in joining us.

Sincerely,
Tim, Elizabeth, Jonathan, Graham, Joel, Rebecca, Rae and Sophie
of Prayer-I58
